Dating back to 1975, the Folkestone Trawler Race is one of the town's most cherished annual traditions. Decorated trawlers race in the English Channel before returning to the harbour for the famous flour battle, creating a unique spectacle that attracts thousands of visitors every year. The weekend also celebrates the community's proud fishing heritage with competitions, demonstrations and fun activities on and off the water.
